"Project Link" column in PWA

Is there any way to use the project link column in new custom fields, or to
customise the functionality of the project link?

I need to create a new list which links to risks, issues and project
tasks/milestones.

Many thanks

1) I doubt it unless you would like to get into some heavy coding.
2) Why not just add a field (or fields) to the new list which looks up the
content of the Risk list. That would work for Risks and Issues, but not
for project tasks, as there's no real way to automatically get those into
SharePoint without perhaps doing some coding in the BDC (and even then, I
am not sure it would work).

One approach that would work fairly effectively however is to:

1) Use intelligent WBS codes in the project plan (Project > WBS)
2) Take the column of WBS Codes and drop them into Excel
3) Load the Excel column of WBS Codes to SharePoint as a custom list
4) Add a lookup field in Risks, Issues, etc., to reference the WBS list.

This will allow you to reference all elements of your SharePoint site to
a specific work package.

Thanks for the reply - I think what we're trying to do is significantly
outside the scope of intended PWA functionality.
