Project manager can not update resource's milestone?

Hi, our project manager is able to update the progress of their resource's
tasks, but can not update the progress of resource's milestone(duration 0
tasks). In this case, the resource can update his mile stone tasks and submit
to his PM.

My question:
- Can a project manager update progress for his resource's milestone tasks?

Yes, the PM can simply double-click the Milestone task in the actual
Microsoft Project plan and set the task to 100% complete. Hope this helps.

Dale,
One of the challenges Project Server (2003) presents after manually updating
the milestone completions is that it prompts to synch w/ project actuals
every time the project is saved. Is there a method for marking milestones
as completed that doesn't trigger the "synch w/ actuals" prompt?

Service Pack 1 for Project Server 2003 was supposed to eliminate the "synch
with actuals" warning message when a PM manually updates the status of a
Milestone task. What is your current level of Service Packs applied to your
Project Server 2003 installation? Let us know and we will try to help.
