Hallo,
we have the following issue:
New project manager cannot connect with the MS Project Pro to the PJ server.
He is getting this dialog:
"The Microsoft Project Server database is unavailable.
You can´t access the database for one of the following reasons:
There is a problem with the enterprise global template in the database.
You do not have sufficiet permission to access the enterprise global template.
Network problems are preventing access.
The Microsoft Project Server does not have enterprise features enabled."
The PJ server as well as the database server is up and running. There are no
errors in the PJ Server Event Log.
All enterprise features are enabled.
We have no network problems.
He has the same rights and permissions as other project managers - that
means his rights should be sufficient. The default language settings on his
computer are en-us.
None else has such problems.
I have unistalled MS Pj Pro on his machine, restarted it, deleted the
ActiveX controls, logged on the PWA and downloaded the controls again,
reinstalled the Ms Pj Pro (as written in the Gary Chefetz book).
It did not help.
I don´t know what else could be done. Please help, any help will be
appreciated.
