I regularly use the proc Dale Howard suggests, [Refer to the following FAQ
for how to change the manager of a project, temporarily or permanently:
http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/changeprojmgr.htm] to
change the project manager (to cover vacations and when project managers
change).
I recently had an occasion to go back to the proc, when a update got
sent to an old PM.
I finally got around to adding the Project Manager field to the Summary view
on the View Resource Assignments page, and was shocked how many still show as
the former project manager. I redid the process on one project as a test,
refreshed the page and the name did not change?
Best I can tell, the updates are coming to me, rather than to the former
project manager (that account has been inactivated).
Any ideas why this data is not getting updated?
My company uses Project Pro and Project Server 2003 (with all the latest
updates).
