Hi,
We are in the situation where we are starting a pilot project for an MS
EPM solution (Project Server + SharePoint). We are planning on running
to pilot on a single standalone Test/Dev server with its own Active
Directory (separate from the "real" enterprise AD) to handle around
200 users.
The issue we are considering is whether it will be possible to migrate
the pilot projects (plus all associated data in SharePoint) over to the
production system with its different AD?
If anyone has had any experience with this or pointers to where we
might find more information I'd greatly appreciate it. I have already
looked at:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/905386/ - How to move the databases
that are used by Windows SharePoint Services and by Project Server 2003
to a computer that is running SQL Server
http://groups.google.com/group/micr...&q=project+migration&rnum=10#a74b0d70eddb39bf
- Migration from a Dev/Test Environment to PROD
However, these do not seem to address the issue of AD
reintegration/migration.
Thanks!
David
