I have to make one access application as a front end where project
participants can do some searching and enter data like "how long time it
takes to finish a task, what is the remaining time and so on. I have project
data saved to a .mpd file. I don't know where to start. Can anybody help me
by providing good suggestions and ideas?

Pras,
For starters you should look at Project's database definition file.
Depending on which version of Project you are using, you should be able
to do a search on your hard drive. For pre-Project 2003, look for
prjdb.htm. For Project 2003, look for pjdb.htm.

Do you mean that I have to find the data defnitions and make a new table in access with them?
