I tried to Publish new assignments (and tried the other options as well) but
it doesn't collaborate, any suggestions?? No tasks are being updated, etc.

First of all, click Tools - Build Team from Enterprise. Make sure that
every resource is set to Committed. If not set them to Committed and then
you should be able to publish the project.

If the resources were already set to Committeted but the project still won't
publish, then this is one of the signs of probable project corruption. To
resolve the corruption you must save the project as an XML file and then
have the Project Server administrator delete it from the Project Server
system. You will then need to open the XML file and save it as an MPP file.
Lastly, you will need to use the Import Project Wizard (Tools - Enterprise
Options - Import Project to Enterprise) and re-import the MPP project back
into the Project Server database. If the project has associated Risks,
Issues, or Documents, ask your Project Server administrator to refer to the
following FAQ before deleting the project:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/DeleteProjectWithoutSubweb.htm

Hope this helps.

Dale: we did this process and now the whole project is missing from all the
resources timesheet and I don't think it's publishing still. Any thoughts?

Hi Mary,

Just thought, set the correct time period on timesheet and verify
there are any assignments exists or not?
I don't think, the previously published assignements will be vanished
away from timesheet for any reason.

Still you have any issues, please let me know. I will send the SQL
query to get the timesheet data from database to verify about truth.

Thanks
Chak

What version of Project Server 2007 are you using? It sounds like 2003. If
this is the case, open the project and do the following:

1. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments.
2. Select the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option.
3. Click the OK button.

Does this make the tasks with actuals reappear on each user's View My Tasks
page? Let us know.
