Hi Frederick --
The only problem that you should encounter is incomplete data.
After the EPOC (Enterprise Project Outline Code) is configured in the
Enterprise Global template, all of the project schedule owners should
do the following with each of their schedules:
1. Open each of their schedules with Project Pro
2. Populate the new EPOC value (Project > Project Information...)
3. Publish the updated info (Collaborate > Publish > Project Plan...)
As the project schedule owners start to perform these steps for each of
their schedules, you should start to see the new EPOC data show up in
OLAP views (after the OLAP cube is re-run, of course). The data will be
incomplete until all of the schedules have been updated; in other
words, if you try to incorporate the new EPOC into any Portfolio
Analyzer views for slicing & dicing of cost or work data, the
non-updated projects will simply show "no value" for the EPOC, and the
representation of the work or cost data will not appear to be
completely accurate.
Good luck!
