When actual hours are entered in the timesheet view, the updates are sent to
the project manager for approval. Our desired result is one of the
following (listed in order of preference)
1. for all the updates to be automatically processed without anyone having
to approve them.
2. if we can't do #1, then we would like all the updates to go to the
Administrator so that we only have to go to one location to approve all the
task updates.
In researching this I have not found any way to do #1. For #2 I found the
following under help: "If you are the original manager, log on to Microsoft
Office Project Web Access 2003, go to the Project Center, select the
project, and then click Edit. On the Project Details page, select the new
manager from the Owner list". When I tried this it would allow me to change
the owner to "Administrator", but wouldn't keep the change. Also, even if
this did work it is a cumbersome approach.
Any help or suggestions you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks.
