Project Palette not available from Tools

In my recently upgraded Office X to 2004, the Project Palette is only
available from the Tools pull-down in Excell. In Word it just isn't
there.

Also, the Tool menu in word does not have an Audio item.
Could it be that Office X has not been properly upgraded?

Thanks

That's strange! In Normal view (View > Normal), it is the sixteenth item,
the last one in the fourth group. Same in Page Layout view.

If you're sure it's not there, try restoring the menu bar. Go to Tools >
Customize > Customize Toolbars/Menus, and click the "Toolbars" tab. Select
"Menu Bar", and then click the "Reset" button. Click OK. Does that help.
Also, the Tool menu in word does not have an Audio item.

The Audio Notes feature is only available when you're in Notebook Layout
View (View > Notebook Layout). The Audio Notes feature is the third from
the bottom in the Tools menu.

Possibly but unlikely. You can check by going to Word > About Word. If it
shows Word 2004 version 11.0, the upgrade went successfully.

In the future, you can receive more timely and expert responses by posting
Word questions to <microsoft.public.mac.office.word>.

Sadly not.

Still not in my Tools menu.

Yes, that looks fine.

Thanks for that. Though the problems still persist. Any further ideas?
