project plans showing to people not in the RBS group

First- my RBS looks like this
President - level 1
Company 1 - exec -level 2
Comany 1 - pm - level 3
Company 1 - Team Lead - but within PM group - level 4

Company 2 - exec -level 2
Comany 2 - pm - level 3
Company 2 - Team Lead - but within PM group - level 4

I had a published project had a task was assigned to team lead company 1,
then I removed Team lead company 1 and replaced them with company 2 team
lead, but the company 1 people can still see the project.
Why?

This would indicate that you have allowed people in Company One to see
projects that are assigned to people that they manage.
