Project Priority issues

We have a project in EPM that we have gone in and updated the project
priority. However, when we run the list from PWA it is not showing up
as being updated. Still showing as a priority of 500

Did you click Collaborate - Publish - All Information to "push" this
information to PWA? Let us know.

Yes, but we get the Project Spooler error 80004005 when trying to
publish and no there are no local resources in the plan.

The Spooler error you reference is the source of your problem, and is
unrelated to the use of local resources. In the Spooler dialog, you might
want clic, k Actions - Retry to see if that completes the publishing
operation successfully. Also, refer to the following Microsoft support
article about possible sources for this error:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328249/en-us

Hope this helps.

Dale,

Unfortunately, retrying doesn't solve the problem. I have forwarded
the link to the support article to our operations team.

Thanks

Sorry to hear that. Your support folks will probably need to dig deeper
into Project Server to find the source of the Spooler error. You can think
of that 4005 Spooler error like the "Check Engine" light in your car. When
you see that warning light, you know something is wrong, but you don't know
the specific problem. You need to take the car to the mechanic, who must
get under the hood to find out the source of the problem. The 4005 Spooler
error is like that. Your support folks will need to "get under the hood" of
Project Server to find the specific cause of the problem. Hope this helps.

Actually it typically indicates authentication failure. There should be
corresponding errors in the Server Application log that will help determine
where.
