Project Pro 2003 on Vista cannot connect to Project Server

Hi all -

I am trying to connect to Project Server 2003 using Project Professional
2003 running on Vista, but not having any luck. The server is set up with
Anonymous access, and I can access it fine using the Administrator
(Project-based) account through PWA. I've added the server as a trusted site
in IE7, and when I attempt to connect with PP2003, I'm given the Project
logon prompt. I type in the Administrator ID and password, and am given an
error that says:

"Cannot connect. Project was unable to establish a connection with the
selected Project Server. This could be caused by a loss of network
connectivity or problems with the Project Server or database."

I attempted to connect on a co-worker's machine running XP SP2 and the same
Project configuration, and was successful. Any ideas on why this might not
work in Vista? The error message isn't giving me a lot to go on.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Bart,
We ran into a similar problem. Resolved it by turning off the Vista firewall.
