Project Pro 2007 formatting

Project Server 2007, December CU on Server and Clients

One user keeps formatting his Gantt view and then seemingly at random the
formatting disappears and can't be recovered.

Any thoughts on why this might be? I asked if he'd received a request to
overwrite the local view with and Enterprise one, but he didn't remember that
happening.

I've had strange issues with this user's computer before, but had hoped
those were all behind us after his computer was re-imaged by the tech staff.

Thanks for any ideas.

Could be because somehow a "Gantt" view ended up in the enterprise global,
or he edited the "Enterprise Gantt" instead of local gantt.
Try creating another local view for him (with its own distinct name) and see
if that is persistant.
I usually discourage local formatting,
