We have project server 2003(OS is Windows 2003 server) on company private LAN
A, uesr's project pro (some OS are windows XP with all available OS update
and office update installed, others are windows XP with SP1 installed or 2000
with SP4 installed) on different company private LAN B and there is proxy
server on LAN B. When users whose OS just installed SP1 or 2000 try to
connect to project server, it works fine. However, when users whose OS are
fully updated try to connect to project server, they get error message," The
server at 'http://projectserver's URL' returned the following error to
project: proxy does not allow the use of your client".
I know microsoft increase the XP security somehow. Does this issue cause
the problem or rather than proxy? Any idea will be appreciated
Thanks in advanced
