Project Pro crashes when synching to protected actuals

Hi,


I recently encountered a problem when trying to Sync to Protected
Actuals. When loading a plan Project Pro would prompt with a dialog to
Sync to Protected Actuals - if selecting to do this then Project Pro
crashes and exits.


I got around the problem by taking an earlier version of the plan and
reloading it. This fixed the problem, although we did have to backdate
some actuals. I just noticed another user on this group had the same
problem and did the same to fix it.


I was wondering whether there was a more elegant way to get around
this, or any way to prevent this happening in the first place?


We're running Project Pro SP1 and Server SP1

Nick:

This typically indicates corruption in the plan. With that said, there may
be a use habit at the root cause. Of course, that's difficult to determine
without further study. I also suggest moving to SP2a.
