Project Pro file changes

Platform:
Project Server 2007 SP1
Project Pro 2007 Sp1

Problem:

User created a Project file using the Enterprise Template. After creating
the user saved this file to database but did not publish. After a few days
he re-opened the file and found that the file had changes that he did not
make, also no one else opened this file in the interim.

The changes were additional lines that were created in the project file, or
empty tasks with no dates or resources (or gaps between tasks).

Is there a reason why it would create additional lines by itself without any
intervention from this user or anyone else.

Thanks.

It should not do that.
Have him try again and see what happens.

Hi,

We have tried this, we even cleaned the cache on my machine (admin) and his
machine. Opened, closed, reopened a few time, still no resolution, could it
be a corrupt file.

Thanks

Could be...

Is it just this file?

Yes and no. This user created two files one is saved to DB and one is
published. One saved to DB has these extra lines or tasks. The one saved
and published is not the same as what we see on the PWA (I posted this issue
also) and also has extra lines and tasks.

Seems to be only these 2 files created by the user and no one else.

Thanks.
