Project Pro & SSL - Bad Certification Authority

On my intranet we're using the OpenSSL CA to sign our SSL certificates...when
I import this cert into SharePoint, I can get PWA to behave with SSL, but
Project Pro 2007 complains when I try to open up my PWA site, with the error
message "Bad Certification Authority (ID=0x800a152a)". I've tried this on
two separate environments, same issue - saw the question posted some time
ago, but I'd like to see if I can stick with the OpenSSL CA for now. If
possible I'd like to avoid importing a copy of the certificate onto my user's
computers, but if that's the only alternative...

Any other suggestions? Many thanks!!

I'm not familiar with OpenSSL, however the concepts of HTTPS are that the
client must be able to communicate with the CA. If OpenSSL is selfcert and
an authorative CA is not available then you have no choice but to copy the
root cert to each of the clients.
