Project Professinal connection problem after changing Project Server2003 database

Hi All,


The Project Server 2003 database was changed by using ConnInfo tool: The
original Project Server database was backed up from a SQL2000 server
and was restored in a SQL2005 server. PWA connections are working fine
but Project Professional 2003 clients no longer connect to the PS 2003.

Any Idea?

the project server uses 2 accounts to connect to the DataBase
MSProjectserver which is used by the PWA
and MSProjectserveruser which is used for the Ms project profissional
try to go into the database users and delete this user
MSProjectserveruser and re-create it back again giving it all the
nessery permitions on the projectserver DataBase
this will solve the problem for you ISA
