If your remote users are using XP, then have them use the Manage Passwords
feature to overcome this.

We had this same Problem. Be aware that you will have to to to Control
Panel, User Accounts, Advanced, Manage Passwords then Add 2 Accounts, one for
the Project Server, the other for the Server that SharePoint is on if they
reside on 2 separate servers. For example, you'll need to enter the Server
Name, then your user name including where the user name will be authenticated
such as MPH\yourusuername, then the password that Project server is requiring
you to authenticate to. You'll have to add an additional user name for the
SharePoint server if sharepoint resides on a separate server. We have a lot
of consultants who need to connect to Project Server using Project Pro and
this worked like a charm.

I'm a bit confused about how to get this to work. Here is our configuration:

Domain\MYUsername (using ProjectPro 2003)

I have a Project Server that is NOT part of the domain and is in a
segregated subnet. We have 80 and 1433 open and can connect to the server.

I am an admin on the Project Server computer.

What entry do I put in the Manage password section? None of the names I try
work. When I put:
PSCompName\MyAdminName this doesn't do any good.
When I try Domain\MyName it asks me if I want to change my domain password
and then fails.

I'm confused about what I'm putting in the manage password list. Any
pointers to clarification would be appreciated.
