Project Professional 2003 can't connect to server

Hi,
Valid URL to projectserver specified in Enterprise Accounts. 1 install of
Project Professional 2003 can't connect to server. Have project administrator
access associated with my windows login, and can
connect from a different PC as well as thru web access. Shows the window
that on other machines displays the trusted accounts message, but on this PC
is just hanging and have to use CTRL + Alt + Del to close. Other machines
connect ok. All
settings ok, trusted site entered in IE. Have used reg entry from KB 887028
and KB328958 with no luck. Help!!!

Any error messages, or is it just hanging?
At what step? Can you choose the profile to connect with? Can you enter
a password? So when does it hang.

And what service pack is installed on MS Project Pro? The service pack
must have at least the same level as the service pack installed on
project server! So if your server is SP2a, your client also must have
SP2 installed.

Hi there,
Thanks for your reply. Both have sp2. The dialog box which normally displays
the trusted site stuff on first login is greyed out. User can't click or do
anything. No error messages are returned. This displays after selecting the
enterprise project account to login and clicking ok right after launching
Professional. Windows authentication is being used and I can log in from a
different PC.

Are there any error messages in the application event log?
Can you connect from this machine with a different user?
Do you have a firewall, pop-up block, ... installed on this machine
which is not installed on the others?

Also, check if you have the latest MDAC version installed on this machine.
