Hey all,
Have a working Project Server (non-WSS) with a SQL database backend on a
different server. Everything works fine on the PWA which is used by a
majority of users. We have about 10 users that use Project Professional to
access the Project Server. For these 10 users, I had to use NETBIOS name or
IP to connect to the server, using FQDN fails. Not sure why, the users are
on the same subnet with no restrictions on the server or PC. I'm able to
ping, connect to a share, and browse the server via its FQDN but Project
Professional 2003 fails to connect if I use FQDN. Can someone shed some
light on this for me?
Thanks
