Project professional 2003/ Project Web Access

I have built a microsoft project server 2003 in 2003 std edition. All things
seem to work ok with the exception of the publish option in 2003 project
professional. When clicking on publish, the test connection works fine.
However during the the publishing event, a receive an error message:
"you are trying to pbulish a non-enterprise project to a project server.
The secruity settings on the server do not allow you to publish
non-enterprise projects."

I have examined and changed many settings inside the Project Web Access
settings and am getting nowhere fast. Does anyone have a simple or a
complicated solution to this problem? I did note that during the
installation process of the Microsoft Office Project Server 2003, I was asked
to check 1 of two options, One being enterprise the other not. I chose
enterprise.

Thx

Is the project actually saved in the Project Server database, or is it an
..mpp file outside the system? If it is an .mpp file, you need to import it
first before you can publish it. Click Tools - Enterprise Options - Import
Project to Enterprise. In the Import Projects wizard, pay close attention
to the resource page in which you will map local resources in the project
with enterprise resources in the Enterprise Resource Pool. Hope this helps.

Thx Howard. In going to tools, enterprise options, the import project to
enterprise is grayed out... What do you think?
