Project Professional 2007 and Project Server 2007

Hello, I am experiencing the following behavior whenever I use Project
Professional 2007 and try to open a project from Project Server 2007 from my
laptop:

I get an error message indicating that my credentials were not valid unless
I first go to the Project Web Access URL on my server. It seems like Project
Server 2007 needs to "wake up" by going to the PWA URL prior to me being
authenticated in Project Professional 2007 on my laptop. If anyone has any
ideas, I would greatly appreciate hearing them!
