Project Professional 2007 Connectivity

I am trying to connect to Project Server 2007 from my client machine using
Project Professional 2007 SP1. I get an error:-
Project Server could not be contacted. If you retry & still unable to
connect, try the following:-
Check your network connection
Check the url of the project server
Use internet explorer & make sure you can connect to Project Web Access
Contact Sys Admin
I can use Internet explorer & use Project Web Access but cant connect from
the client computer using project professional 2007 client
