The Project Professional can not see vacation hours when doing the
resource leveling on any project other than the Administrative project
that contains the vacation task.

The vacation hours do show correctly in the Resource Center. I
republished the Administrative project and other projects, but I just
can not get the vacation hours synchronized in both PWA and
Professional.

I have PWA 2003 and Project Professional 2003. I have applied SP1.

If your PM wishes to level one or more projects against the vacation hours
entered in the administrative project, then he/she must open the
administrative project as well during the leveling process. The leveling
process only changes projects that are currently open. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

I can see workload of the other projects when I open only my project.
It does not show details at task level, but the total hours of each
project is available in the Resource Usage view.

Will Resource leveling consider workload in those projects? Do I have
to open all these projects?

You must actually open any projects in which you want to level resource
overallocations. Hope this helps.
