Project Professional not connecting to the server

I am trying to get a user to connect to the project server. When I try to
test the connection (setting up the user acct to the server) I get the
following message:

"Unextected server response.
Project Server has returned and unexpected repsonse.
Click the View button to view the server response as an error page in your
browser."

The response is:
"You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page under the
credentials supplied becaue your web browser is sending a WWW-Authenticate
header field that the Web server is not configured to accept."

The odd thing about this is that I can log into this same computer as a
different user (who has the same privs as this one) and get connected with
their account OR this same account that is getting the error. Additionally, I
can go to another computer and log in as this same user and get connected.

There is something different w/ this user logging into this computer as this
account that is different (corrupt?) that I can not figure out.

Any help would be appreciated. I would really like to get this user
connected properly as her log in is connected to all her apps, email, network
file shares etc.

Hi Lynn

Try:

1. On that machine goto the IE settings under tools > options > security tab
2. Select trusted sites (Porject Server should be a trusted site)
3. Click on the Custom Level button
4. Scroll to the bottom of the settings
5. Under Authentication > Logon click on ardio button 'Automatic logon with
current username and password.

Thanks for this. I tried all these settings already. I actually decided to
delete the profile and re-create it (saving all the user settings, docs,
etc.first). This worked.
