In PWA 2007 I am receiving the following error message when performing the
steps below.

Message: project server cannot access the project you are trying to view.
It is most likely that either you don't have permissions to view the project,
another user has deleted this project before you were able to view it, or
that another user is in the process of publishing the project.

NOTE: The instances noted in the message are not the case in my situation.

1. Click on 'Project Center' in the quick launch bar.
2. Highlight the project and click 'edit project properties.'
3. Message above is displayed.

I need to change the owner of the project. Is there another way to
accomplish this task without going through the project center?

Hi Tisha,

no you can only change the ownership of a proejct using the project center.
Are you able to do this with other projects? I would check if you have the
appropriate permission.
