Project reader tool? Freely available?

Is there a software tool that allows a user to read, navigate, and print
project plans made by MS Project? Kind of like Adobe's reader program?

If so, would this be freely available?

I'm weighing options to allow different people to read my project plans
without needing MS Project.

I ran into the same problem. My current fix is going to
file/print/covert to PDF. Then I can send the
information to anyone. Problem there is you have to have
the license to convert it to the PDF. Hope this helps.

If you want to make PDF's without buying Adobe Acrobat or other
not-for-free PDF making software, try Ghostscript.
