Project Server 2002 / 2003

Hi All,

i am hoping someone can answer 2 simple questions for me.

i am looking at purchasing MS Project Server 2002 or 2003 (with 5 cals) and
need to know the following:

1. do i need to purchase additional software to run it on the workstations
or is that what the 5 cals are for (i.e. server install and then workstation
usage)?
2. if i had 7 workstations can i run it on the 1st 5 and when 2 ppl log off
then run it on the other 2, or is the software locked and registered to the
workstations?

Hi Scott,

MS Licensing can be somewhat complex and I would recommend you work with
them directly to get these answers. Also, your company may already have a
licensing agreement with Microsoft that might change the rules a little bit
as to how flexible the license is.
