Project Server 2002 and Sharepoint Team Services

Maybe someone could help me to understand something....
Why does MS Project server create a network group for each
subweb that is created. Is there a setting that I need to
change so that it doesn't do this? This is causing a
problem when trying to upload documents for each project
that is out there. When a project is published to Project
Server, there should be a way to upload documents for that
project without having to go to sharepoint to do it. With
the subwebs creating a group on the network for each one,
there is an issue with permissions for that project
manager, resource, etc. Could someone please enlighten me
on how this should be set up?

Beth:

There are actually four groups that get created for each subweb, and it's
one of the "features" we have to live with in the 2002 version. This changes
for 2003. If you would like to pre-populate subwebs with documents, you can
do this programmatically.
