I have had to reinstall Project Server 2002 because of a hard drive failure.
I have installed Project Server 2002 on Windows Server 2003 using the SQL
Server 2000 option.
I have Apache Web Server running on port 80 of this machine and IIS running
on port 81. This configuration worked for my last install and Project
Server was working fine.
After reinstalling, I get the HTTP Error 403 "You are not authorized to view
this page" when I access http://myserver:81/projectserver or
http://myserver:81/projectserver/Admin/Admin.asp. Initially, neither of the
pages could be found. To attempt to fix this I added the Project Server
virtual directory to the Default Web Site in IIS.
In addition the following error and warning are in the Event Log:
I have searched Google and MS KB and have found a few suggestions that have
not worked:
Admittedly I have not finished investigating the error on my own, and will
hopefully be able to do that today.
Any suggestions on steps I should take to figure this out.
Thank you
Roy
