Hi,
I have been trying to get Project Server 2003 installed using SQL Server
2005 since our company is planning to upgrade to SQL Server 2005 early next
year. However I have hit some issues with this.
I have seen Bill Raymonds workaround (http://blogs.lv0.net/mpatest/) but
this is not a supported fix and anyway, even if I apply the fix I then can't
get the Service Pack 1 installed !
In addition Microsoft tell me that Project Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005
is not a supported configuration !!
Is anyone else out there considering upgrading their SQL boxes to SQL 2005
and if so I'd be interested to know who else has this problem and whether
anyone has been able to fix it.
Of course I am hoping that Microsoft will come up with a supported solution
for this before we go live in Feb with SQL 2005 - otherwise we are going to
have a BIG problem. I am sure I can't be the only person in the world that
is having to resolve this !
Appreciate any input from the gurus out there...
Thanks
Ian
