Project Server 2003 backup & Restore to clean install

We have a Project server 2003 that does not work correct.
It's a 3 server deployement.
ProjectServer
PRJSQL
PRJSVC (Sharepoint Services)

Projects updated from Project Clients is not updated when looked from
Project Web Access.

I did some troubleshooting but i couldn't solve the problem

So i want to re install project Server 2003, but first i want to back up the
data, and restore to news installation. The new installation will be single
or two server deployement. Sharepoint Services, Project Server and SQL will
be on one hardware OR only SQL will be on a seperate hardware.

So the question is: What should i back up and how?
How should i restore to new installation.

disaster recovery guide.

Like I said in the original post, your question is too broad and depends on
information that you aren't providing. First you need a strategy and then
you need to determine the tactics.
