Project Server 2003; Error Number: 0x80010108

Hi all,

On a MS Project Server2003 system the notification service fails t
process the XML files in the DropView directory. The eventviewer i
showing the following message;

Component: PCSViews
File: ViewsDrop.cls
Line: -1
Error Number: 0x80010108
Description: <Description><![CDATA[Error Information: Method '~' o
object
'~' failed
Additional Information: An error occured calling
ViewProcessingCompleted(projectserver, -1)]]></Description>

Anyone a clue?

Make sure to adjust permissions for the ViewDrop directory as following:

Administrators: full control
Authenticated users: full control
Everyone: Modify, Ready & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read, and Write

Does the project contain a tilda in the name? Any other illegal characters
in the Project Name?

thanks for the info

Permissions are set properly. It seems that only a particular type o
xml file is not processed and shows the errormessage in th
eventviewer. These are mostly some mutations on a resourcetable
