Project Server 2003 on Windows 2000 Server

I have a customer who is very interested in the publishing/collaboration/web
access feature of Project Server 2003 coupled with Project Professional
2003. They currently have a pure Windows 2000 environment and aren't
necessarily in budget position to upgrade to Win2k3 at this point. I'm
trying to get an idea of what features of Pro/Server 2003 will be lost by
NOT installing Project Server on a Win2k3 server but rather on a Windows
2000 Server running Sharepoint Team Services (not WSS) and MSDE. What
functionality will I lose? Will Pro still be able to publish projects to the
Project server? Also, recommendations on MSDE vs. SQL. There will be 10
people using this Project server on a daily basis. I have scoured the web
and past newsgroup posts and have yet to find anything that could answer my
questions. Thanks,

Hmm,

You wont lose any pure project 2003 server features, but you will not be
able to use documents, issues and risks. Project 2003 Server used WSS for
this and CANNOT use STS for this.

With regards to MSDE vs SQL - i suppose at this stage, with such a low
amount of users, it would make sense to go the MSDE route.
