Can you use the Sharepoint version of sql for Project Server 2003, all
documentation states you need sql 2000 standard. The way I understand it,
sharepoint services installs a fully functional sql version WMSDE but you
can only
have one database and Project Server is basically webparts to sharepoint. I
have 2 processors and am trying to avoid the cost of sql 200 standard on 2
processors if I don't need it. Any thoughts? --
if it is possible, is WMSDE itself robust enough to support 50 project users?
The server is a Dell 2850 with (2) 3.2 ghz processors and 4 gb ram, with 300
gb hard drive space. Thanks.
