Project Server 2003 Problems - Error Messages

Greetings!

We have been having many problems installing/configuring Project Server 2003.

Here are some of the error messages I've been getting when I try to test
some of the different features, including Issues, Risks, Documents, Portfolio
Analyzer, etc.

We would greatly appreciate anyone's suggestions. I am told that the
installers performed a "textbook" install of all components, so no one
understands why it isn't working. BTW, I have administrator rights and have
given myself every conceivable permission available that I can see in the
Admin area of Project Server 2003.

Error messages:

When I try to go to Risks, Issues, and Documents pages:

"You have logged on using your Project Server account. Project Server
accounts are not automatically given access to documents, risks, and issues.
If your server administrator has given you logon information, click OK, and
then enter the information in the Logon dialog box that appears."

When try to click on Analyze resources in Portfolio Analyzer:

"There are no Porfolio Analyzer views to display. The Project Server
administrator has not assigned any Portfolio Analyzer Views for you to view.
Contact your Project Server administrator to get permission to view Portfolio
Analyzer views."

Please advise.

Your user account in Project Server must use Windows User Account
authentication to access Risks, Issues, or Documents in PWA. The error
message indicates that your user account uses Project Server authentication.

The Portfolio Analyzer includes no default Views in Project Server. Because
Portfolio Analyzer views are highly dependent on your organization's use of
custom Project and Resource outline codes, your Project Server administrator
must create custom Portfolio Analyzer views to meet your organization's
reporting needs.

Hope this helps.

When I go into Project Server 2003, the Windows Authentication option is
grayed out. How do I enable that option so I can select it?

Please advise. Thank you.

Your Project Server administrator must set this option for each user by
doing one of the following:

1. Open the Enterprise Resource Pool and enter a Windows User Account for
each user
2. Edit each user's account information in PWA using Admin - Manage Users
and Groups

Hope this helps.
