Project Server 2003 Proj Mgr different in Document and Projects vi

I have noticed that the information in the Project Manager column in Document
view and the information in the Project Manager column of the Projects view
are not the same. How does one correct this and why is no correct?

Thanks,

Linda:

I'm guessing that you're referring to the SharePoint site when you say
"document view." Based on that guess, I'd say that the person who originally
saved the project was someone other than the project manager who now manages
the project. If that's the case, in PWA, navigate to Admin > Manage Windows
SharePoint Services > Manage SharePoint Sites, and select the project in
question in the grid. Click the Synchronize button in the tool bar.

Thanks Gary for stating the problem more clearly... I tried what you
suggested and unfortunately it didn't work... My name displays as Project
Manager in the Sharepoint Svcs Documents view while the correct Project
Manager displays in the PWA Projects view...

A bit frustrating when trying to sell the 'coolness' of PWA to Executive Mgmt.

Are you sure that the Project Owner field is set correctly? In PWA, go to
the Project Center, select the project in a non-link field and click the
Edit button in the toolbar. Is the owner correctly set? If not change it,
and run the synchronization again.

Yes I have... in fact that was the first place I looked... the owner is set
correctly... so hence my confusion in the display being incorrect between the
two views..

Gary,
I was incorrect in my last statement... you are correct... my name is
showing up as owner when I am in Projects... so I changed it and it nows
reflects correctly in Documents..

Thanks... it may take me a moment or two, but I do get it eventually...

The issues that give me the most problems are the ones I'm looking at square
in the eye!
