Project Server 2003 PWA with IE7?

Marc S.

Hi everyone

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Internet Explorer 7.0
(Release Candidate 1). From this machine -- using IE7 -- I want to access
Project Web Access of Project Server 2003 (SP2).

I'm wondering right now if Microsoft officially supports this scenario or
plans to do so in the near future. Has anybody of you read a KB article on
that or maybe done a couple of tests on his/her own? What I've figured out
thus far is that Portfolio Analyzer views can't be displayed, even though the
Office Web Components have been installed successfully.

Thanks for your hints and thoughts...

Marc

We are using PWA with IE7 and generally Portfolio Analyzer works. There's a
separate post addressing (but with no solution yet) an issue with saving the
view as a gif. That thread also points out that when you install IE7, it
resets the security for the Trusted Sites to Medium. Make sure you reset it
to low (& have all your servers listed).
