Project Server 2003 sample database

I am studying MS-Project server2003. According to the Installation guide I
also installed the sample database. However, I can not find any article
regarding how to use those sample database. Does anyone know where I can find
the tutorial for using those sample database?

I dont think there is a tutorial. The Example database prefills Project
Server with Example projects that you can have a look at. If you browse to
the ProjectServer homepage and click on the project Center, you should be
able to see all the projects from the Example database. Is this correct?

Hi Marc,

I found this guy mention about tutorial for EPM sample database

Therefore I am wondering if I can follow the tutorial to build up my project
environment. Do you have any suggestion for how to manage resource more
efficient?

Now that is a question that has no easy answer mate. What I would recommend
you may want to do is look for a project server book to start of with and
start "playing" with the example db. there are many things you need to
consider when you deploy project server and resource managment is certainly
one of the harder parts of proejct server. you will need to make sure that
you have a process in place to manage your resources and then apply the
technology.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your help. I already found the tutorial material which is located
in the project server \Sample Data\1033 folder (Samprm.htm and Sampepm.htm)
Those two files show us how to play with the sample database.
