Project Server 2003 - Team Member Group Document Viewing Problem

Just wondering if I am crazy...

Is it just my implementation of Project Server or does everyone that
uses Project Web Access have problems viewing documents if they are in
the "Team Member" group? What I have found is that to see documents
as a Team Member that you have to actually be assigned a task within
that project. I have always assumed that you only had to be a member
of the Project Team to view documents for a specific project. Is
there anything I can do about this or is this a bug?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Brian, your assumption is incorrect, and the behavour you are seeing is
correct (though not desirable and it has changed for 2007 so that it behaves
as you, and many others, desire).

The way around it is to create an assignment of 0 hours, of course this then
shows up on the timesheet... or allow anonomous access to all WSS sites...
