We are currently using Project Server 2003. Associates at the client
site have been using VPN to successfully log in to both Project
Professional and PWA with either Windows authentication or Server
authentication.
We just recently decided to look into using the timesheet
functionality to have CAMs status the project using the % work
complete method. When the PM's (using VPN) login to PWA to review and
accept the updates, everything appears to work fine.
- Project Pro launches
- The correct project plan opens
- The window sayingthe updates were applied and asking if you want to
save pops up
However, nothing is really updated in the project plan. On PWA
however, the CAMs timesheet looks like everything worked fine.
PM's not using VPN follow the exact steps on the same project and
tasks and everything works fine.
Any ideas?
