Project Server 2003 with sharepoint services

Q

QC

I just installed project server 2003 running with SQL Server 2000 SP3 and
Sharepoint Services 2.0 SP1. I went through the sharepoint services wizard
on the Project server 2003 CD before I install the project server. It seems
everything went successfully. However, when I log on the Project web access,
I can't add any user in Project server.

I also installed updates--Project server 2003 SP1, sharepoint security
update, and sQL update. I still can't add any user, group, or tasks.

I know Sharepoint services 2.0 can give a lot of problems to many
applications. So I uninstalled Sharepoint Services, then it works. I can
add users, groups and so for.

However, I want to the project server to work sharepoint server, I don't
know to fix the problem.

Any ideas??

QC:

You hardly give us anything to go on. If you installed WSS on the same
virtual site as Project Server, it could be that you forgot to enter the
Project Server URL as an exclusion to WSS managed paths. If this were the
case, WSS will grab all the calls to that site and not pass them to Project
Server.
