Hello !

With Project server 2003, can we use the SQL Server 2000 STANDARD version.
In that case, what are the limitations ?

Thanks for help.

Hi Woody,

There are no limitations using SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition with
Project Server 2003.

Good Luck!

Woody,

Read the following excerpt from the Project Server 2003 Installation Guide:

"... Microsoft SQL Serverâ„¢ 2000 Provides database management for users who
want to take advantage of all enterprise functionality that is built in to
Project Server 2003 in a scalable environment. Both SQL Server 2000 Standard
Edition and SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition support the enterprise
functionality of Project Server 2003, but only SQL Server 2000 Enterprise
Edition supports advanced deployment features such as failover or HTTP
Internet support. ..."

Hope this helps...

Marc
