Project Server 2003 without Sharepoint services

Our company may be purchasing a 2003 project server. The thing is we
only have W2K server, so no sharepoint. I have been looking around and
people say that you lose the sharepoint capabilities in project. What
functionality are we losing exactly?

You will lose the Risks, Issues, and Documents functionality in Project
Server. Hope this helps.

could you point me to some documentation that explains those? I have
been cruzing newsgroups and MS webstite trying to find some info on
those.

EDIT:

I found somewhere it mentions that we lose project collaboration, does
that mean 2-3 team members can not work on the same project togeather?
That is fairly important, if we can not we mine as well go with porject
standard.

No, you do not lose project collaboration. You simply lose the
functionality provided by Windows SharePoint Services, which includes the
Risks, Issues, and Documents sections of Project Server. Hope this helps.
