Project Server 2007 Alert

We are using Project Server 2007. If I do any changes in a particular task,
the system sending an alert message about their task details to all the
resources who are in the project. Actually it should send the alert only to
the task owner. How can I avoid this....

Are you using assigning tasks to a team resource ?

Thank you for your response. We are assinging the tasks to
individual only, not to a team.
