Shahid,

you certainly can create workflows wihtin the project workspaces.
Workpspaces are SharePoint team sites with smarts and when you go into the
workflow settings you will be able to set up workflows ( the amount of
pre-defined workflows is depended if you have MOSS or not).

Also you can actually use SharePoint designer to create your own workflows,
or alternetafly you can custom develop your workflows based on windows
workflow foundation.
I would check out the SharePoint workflow on the Microsoft page as a good
starting point. I personally like to "play" with the functionality. In the
past I have always learned a lot by simply trying out whats there already.
Hope this helps

We have issue List in the Worskspaces and would like to put workflow on this.
For example close issues, open issue and sending alerts to people when
issues are closed or opened.

Thanks

Hi Marc,

I was just googling around for some info on this as well. I have a MSP
Server 2007 implementation and trying to create a workflow between a Risk
List and a Task list in a default workspace. I used sharepoint designer and
the workflow works great in Sharepoint, and I gotta say, this is gotta be one
of the coolest features in this whole solution.. I didn't toy around with SP
Designer til a few weeks ago and the workflows are so fun!

So I have a problem that I hope maybe someone else on the forum has run into
and has fixed. Now after creating the workflow, I've done some changes to my
project schedule and saved/published. The is where i get the ReportingWSSSync
failed error message and it details out to be: Error="Mismatched transaction."

I understand the sync to reporting database process on publish and how
deletions or changes to default PWA list structures don't sit well with this
process, but I haven't changed anything - just added on a workflow.

Any ideas really appreciated!

Thanks.
