Project server 2007 beta instalaltion

Q

I down load the project server 2007 beta on microsoft beta site. when I run
setup the wizards appear and I follow the steps. However, after I click on
"I accept...." The installation page appear but the Server Type only let me
select the stand alone server( the Complete and Webfront end options are
grayed out - not able to select).
I read the deployment documents and notice that there should be advance tab
on this page but there is actually no advanced Tab. I do not think that i
download the wrong version. Do you have any idea what problem is?How can I
install the complete server type, not stand alone? Thank you very much for any
help

When you first click setup, you should see, in the following order:

Product Key Screen
Licence Agreement Screen
Choose the installation you want Screen

On this screen, click the button that says advanced
This takes you to the Sever Type dialog with three tabs

It sounds like you clicked the Basic button rather than Advanced

Dear Gary,
There is no advance tab. Three tab are: Server Type - File Location - Feed
back. Is this what you got?

If the Complete - Install option is grayed out when you get to this point,
it likely indicates that you haven't prepared the system correctly. Did you
accomplish all the prework? Did you install SQL Server 2000 with SP4?

Gary,
I also check the prework. It seems nothing missed. I have
- SQL server 2000 SP4
- .Net Framwork version 2.0.50727
- ASP.NET version 2.0.50727
- Windows Workflow Foundation beta 2.2 version 3.0.3807.7
What else do you think I need? Thanks

Unfortunately, I haven't tried installing Project Server 2007 with
prerequisites missing to witness the behavior myself, so I'm only guessing
here. Are you certain that ASP.NET is properly installed and allowed? Can
you verify this under Web Service Extensions under IIS in the Computer
Management screen?

I've ssen it install without allowing it explicitly. Are you starting with a
fresh server or are other applications running on the server?
