When we publish projects to Server 2007, tasks that are zero duration that
are milestone = 'no' are changed to milestone = 'yes'. There are no dialogs
presented to the user, and no errors (unless something is logged on Server
that I'm not aware of). We can uncheck the task's milestone checkbox, then
save, publish, check-in, and exit normally. When we open the project again,
the check has re-appeared in the tasks' milestone checkbox. This only happens
when saving to Server 2007. It did not happen with Server 2003, and does not
happen when saving the MPP as a file to the local machine.
Is this a bug or a feature?
Something that SP2 would fix?
We've recently upgraded our workstations from Project 2003 to 2007
(12.0.6318.5000) SP1 MSO (12.0.6320.5000) and from Server 2003 to 2007.
